Growing up, I spent a lot of time looking at this photo, since it was framed and hanging in my parents’ house (still is). It was taken by my uncle, Jerry, who liked to photograph animals. I call it “mohawk squirrel.”
And now, for a more recent squirrel story from my clan, courtesy of my Mom, who sent this today:
“Your dad had to chase a squirrel out of the garage. It seems they have been getting in and out of our attic through an opening in the garage. A few days ago, after some very loud noise, I thought a large mammal was going to fall through the ceiling into the bathtub. This raised our suspicions. Then the next day, a pesky squirrel startled Don in the garage. He chose to chase it all over with a broom. It kept going in the opposite direction that Don was trying to get it to go, so he had to chase it under the van and over the walls. Finally after several minutes of this chasing, it went out like it was suppose to do. Oh for a video cam!
