Let’s Remember Another Urban Wildlife Friend: Mr. Turkey

Along with squirrels, raccoons, stray cats, coyotes and pigeons, turkeys have become a part of urban wildlife in many cities. In New York, for instance, it’s not uncommon to see wild turkeys strolling about Riverside Park, which flanks Manhattan, one of the most – if not the most – densely populated areas in the world.

Don’t ask me how they got there, but let’s hope they stay:
